Dr. Melissa Burgos-Martir is an Interventional Pain Management and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation specialist at Total Spine and Orthopedics in Melbourne, FL.

Dr. Burgos is a Puerto Rican native where she received her doctorate in medicine from the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine and completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency in the VA Caribbean Healthcare system. Dr. Burgos moved to Brevard County where she completed a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at Deuk Spine Institute. She later joined the B.A.C.K. center where she continued to gain experience and knowledge in the spine field.

Dr. Burgos enjoys multiple outdoor activities such as hiking, jogging, biking, and paddleboarding. She loves to travel but also appreciates quiet time at home. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

Dr. Burgos stands ready to help patients restore their quality of life and find pain relief with non-operative measures and without the need for addictive narcotics.
