Joseph (Joe) Perry is an Orthopedic Physician Assistant with Total Spine and Orthopedics. With over 25 years of experience, Joe specializes in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of orthopedic, spine, and joint conditions.

Originally from East Texas, Joe earned his degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He began his career in Occupational Medicine near the refineries of Lake Jackson, TX, before transitioning to general orthopedic practice in the Houston area with Koshman Orthopedics, KSF Orthopedics, and Trinity Mother Francis Orthopedics in Tyler, TX. Joe went on to gain extensive experience in Orthopedic Trauma at East Texas Medical Center—one of only twenty Level I Trauma Centers in Texas.

Prior to relocating to Florida, Joe served as the primary provider for an Orthopedic Urgent Care clinic in Amarillo for 12 years, followed by several years working with an upper extremity specialist. His well-rounded background across trauma, spine, and joint care allows him to provide comprehensive and compassionate treatment to patients with both acute and chronic musculoskeletal concerns.

Outside of work, Joe has been happily married to his wife, Beth, a Dermatology PA, for over 25 years. Together they have three children—all young adults—who also live in Florida. In his free time, Joe enjoys spending time with family, watching football, snow skiing, riding motorcycles, and traveling with his wife. Sometimes, you’ll find him out on the beach early in the morning, enjoying a bit of surf fishing.
